Svasti Microfinance Private Limited is an NBFC with a gross loan portfolio of Rs. 42 cr as on 31st March 2014. It started off by giving micro loans based on a joint liability group lending model in the range of Rs. 15,000 – Rs. 35,000 to low-income group women. It is expanding its products to provide loans, savings and insurance products in the areas that it services directly or as an agent to banks and insurance companies. The organization’s operations spreads over Mumbai with 10 branches reaching 31,154 clients.
